Hello Parents & Guardians,
We've had a great week back so far - there are just a few things we would like to share:
*On Friday, October 19, Kindergarten has won a Free Dress Day for bringing in the most boxtops! This is for Kindergarten only. Your child is free to wear whatever they would like, however, please remember that they will still be going outside for recess and PE.
*It is starting to get cooler (finally!) and we know some of your children will start wanting to wear jackets. Please remember to clearly label your child's jacket's with their first name (or initial) and last name. Jackets are frequently left on the playground so this will help make sure your child's jacket gets back to you. There are a lot of maroon jackets in this school and they all look the same!
*We are going to begin our Shoe Club! Our Shoe Club is our way of motivating students to learn to tie their shoes. We will ask periodically throughout the week if anyone wants to show us their shoe tying for the Shoe Club. If they can tie their shoes all on their own they will get their name up in the hallway.
*We are in need of two large cardboard boxes for our Summative. Refrigerator sized or larger would be wonderful. Please email us before you bring in the boxes, we have limited storage and only have room for two. Thank you!
*Just a reminder that our first Summative will be held on Wednesday, November 7th from 5:00-6:15PM. It is an Open House format so you can come and go as you please. You are welcome to bring grandparents, aunts, uncles, or any other important family members. Your child is free to "Dress-Up" to celebrate their special evening. More information will be sent home as we get closer to the date.
*Our volunteer sign-up for November is ready for sign-ups! Please only sign-up for one spot initially (make sure you are signing up in the same group your child is in!). We will send an email after a certain amount of time letting you know when you may sign-up for any remaining spots. To sign-up for a spot, please follow the link below:

Thank you for your time and support!
Have a wonderful Thursday and a fabulous weekend!
